Omaha’s ScoreVision and Lincoln’s Don’t Panic Labs were among the award winners last night at the AIM Tech Celebration at the Holland in Omaha, Nebraska, last night.
The annual event recognizes leading innovators, students and educators in the Omaha/Lincoln technology community. Cox Business was the title sponsor for the event.
ScoreVision received the 2016 Emerging Business of the Year award. The startup was profiled earlier this year on Silicon Prairie News, “Why ScoreVision could be the next Hudl.”
“It feels incredible to be recognized as Emerging Business of the Year among such great tech leaders and teams,” said Jake Chapman, Vice President of Operations. “Tech Celebration was a great event, and it was awesome to see such a mix of startups and established businesses.”
Co-founder and CTO of Nebraska Global and Don’t Panic Labs Doug Durham was awarded Tech Innovator of the Year for his work on improving practices in the software development industry.
